African Grey parrots are very popular as pet parrots for their amazing ability to mimic human speech as well as their intelligence, which is often compared to that of a 5 year old child. However, African grey parrots are ALSO known for characteristics like being "phobic" and "timid" which is the #1 reason why they can make bad pets for most people who don't know how to combat this problem. If not helped, these problems often lead to issues with anxiety, biting, screaming and feather plucking. In this video we talk about how to combat this issue EARLY ON in an African Grey's life (Bubba, the grey in this video is only six months of age) by using our training philosophy of the "NOUN Experience".
