But this time instead of a black owned makeup tutorial, I thought I would try out nude lipsticks since the struggle to find the perfect nude lipsticks for dark skin and brown skin are very real. You really do not need to be a black woman to understand this struggle as many people with varying skin tones on the darker end of the spectrum may or may not struggle with this as well. I have been seeing Mented Cosmetics more frequently and decided to try out their lipsticks. They are a black owned makeup brand that tailors to people who may find it difficult to find that perfect nude lipstick. I purchased four of their lipsticks from their website and I got Peach Please, Dope Taupe, Mented no 5, and Nude LaLa. They were $16.50 each and shipping was fast.
