Welcome back to the channel for the replay of our Friday Live Stream: City Crawl for Fryday Call! 🏙️ In this episode, Asif and I take you on an urban hike through the heart of Vancouver’s most vibrant neighborhoods. We started our journey exploring the West End, soaking up the local atmosphere along Denman and Robson Street. If you missed the live action, now is your chance to catch every moment of our exploration and, more importantly, all the incredible snacks we found along the way! 🍗 ​Our first mission was finding the best value-for-money bites in the city. We headed straight to Konbinya, the local Japanese corner store, to pick up what we consider some of the most affordable and delicious karaage fried chicken in the area. There is nothing quite like grabbing a warm snack while wandering the West End! As we transitioned into Downtown heading east on Robson, the energy of the city really started to pick up. 🥢 ​One of the highlights of this crawl was our pit stop at H-Mart on the corner of Robson and Seymour. We dived into some seriously flavorful snacks here! 🌶️ First up was the spicy tteokbokki, which had just the right amount of kick to keep us moving. To balance out the heat, we tried a unique custard pastry known as a "Toonie Cake." This snack is pressed into the perfect shape of a Canadian two-dollar coin—it’s as Instagrammable as it is tasty! 🪙 ​As we continued our walk down Robson, we took a moment to point out some familiar sights. We passed the specific locations where we filmed the food segments for our weekly Fried Chicken Wars video over on ‪@Asif.Forestwood‬. It was great to see those spots again and reminisce about some of the tasty fried chicken we've tried lately. 🍗⚔️ ​To wrap up our Friday afternoon, we ducked into Slo Cafe for some much-needed liquid refreshment. It was the perfect spot to sit back and recap the day’s adventures. Asif opted for a classic, rich hot chocolate to warm up ☕, while I decided to try one of their signature drinks: the Irish Coffee. It provided the perfect finish to a long walk across the city. ☘️ ​Thank you to everyone who joined us live and chatted along!
