As he announced the lockdown on March.23rd 2020 , Cypriot President Nicos Anastasiades condemned a "disobedient, ill-disciplined and reckless" minority of people who continued to flout existing restrictions and potentially put lives at risk. Anastasiades ordered all citizens to remain indoors unless they have to go to work, pick up food and other essential supplies, visit the doctor or a pharmacy, go to the bank or help others in need. When outside, all citizens must carry identification and those who don't conform could face criminal charges and an on-the-spot fine of 150 euros ($161). The order remains in effect until May.04 2020. On May 4th the government lift some restrictions and let people go out by sending an sms for 3 times in a day. Also all small business are back to work as well as the public sector. As of the last week the infections are close to zero and people start to hung out more and not be afraid.
