Blockbusters Theme Tune | Piano Bash

I'll have a theme tune please Bob... it's Blockbusters! Based on an original US show of the same name, the UK version of Blockbusters arrived on ITV in 1983. It ran for 10 series until 1993, outlasting its American cousin by several years, probably because its theme tune is SO MUCH BETTER, and the show has since returned on several occasions, including its most recent reincarnation on Comedy Central UK. The iconic music was written by the legendary Ed Welch, who is also responsible for Catchphrase (you can kind of tell if you listen to it), Knightmare, and The National Lottery Live. My cover is based on the classic 1980s theme, which was a little longer than the modern rendition. *Eagle eyed viewers will spot that this is not the first time I've done this theme - in fact, it was one of the first theme tune covers I ever uploaded. But back then I was just bashing them out with only a vague regard for accuracy, timing, etc (hence "Pianobash") and tbh I didn't really do it justice. I've always meant to go back and do it properly, and since it just returned to TV, now seemed like a good time!
