The College of Nurses of Ontario’s Program Approval Framework is an evidence-based tool that evaluates entry-level nursing programs in an objective and standardized manner, ensuring that all graduates have the knowledge, skill and judgement to practice safely. As the nursing regulator in Ontario, our priority is patient safety, making the framework an invaluable tool to us — and several other Canadian nursing regulators who use it.
