Here you can listen the ultra rare Demo song from PHANTASM with the title "Nightmare". There is also music from a movie on this demo but I can't tell you which one ? ... in the beginning you hear "Where is Charlie" Maybe this PHANTASM song was also used in a movie ? PHANTASM was a Female Fronted N.W.O.B.H.M Band, They were active in 1987. The Drummer is none other than Dave Dufort the original Drummer with Angelwitch and Tytan and brother of Denise Dufort (Girlschool). As far as I know they never released anything making this demo very scarce ! UK heavy metal featuring members former Tytan, Angel With and Blade Runner members, consisting in unreleased demo material recorded from 1986 on 1988, reissued by greek label Cult Metal Classics Records. Phantasm was the brainchild of ex Tytan/EF Band/Angel Witch drummer Dave Dufort. In mid-1980, Dave decided to form a new Heavy Metal band called Phantasm. First recruit was the renowned Blade Runner axeman Gary Jones (now Gary Grace), who made the move from Nottingham to London to join the band. Next up Tredegar powerhouse bass player Tom Prince, and the basis of the band was now formed. Writing new material was immediately started and Tytan and Blade Runner songs were also included in the live set. After numerous auditions to find a female vocalist, Jan Stevens (now Jan Parker) walked into the rehearsal room and blew the band away with her amazing growling vocals. Mark Wilde, ex-Blade Runner, joined the band for a short period on second guitar. Recoding sessions followed with producer Guy Bidmead (Motörhead, Jon Lord, Hawkwind etc.) and then John Shaw at Granny's studios. The band played venues such as The Marquee, The Fulham Greyhound and many other venues around London. Then, on the brink of signing with MCA records, Phantasm decided to go their separate ways, so none of the material was ever released.
