It was recorded at Crescent Studios in Bath, England, Whitehouse Studios in Livingston, England and Air Studios in London. It was produced by David Lord and Rhett Davies and was one of the first albums to be recorded entirely digitally. Bandleader Iva Davies said that it was the first time he'd worked with outside producers that he actually got along with and the project was blessed to start with a surplus of completed songs that he was happy with. The album received average reviews and reached No. 64 in the Netherlands, No. 55 in the U.S., No. 37 in Germany, No. 8 in Australia and No. 2 in New Zealand. It was certified Gold in New Zealand.
