A boiler engineer has identified a leak on the central heating system. The boiler has been isolated from the central heating system. Our engineer has drained all of the water from the central heating pipes. The central heating system pipes are pressurised with Tracer gases. The pipes are buried in screed under the flooring. Traces of the tracer gas were detected behind the washing machine. Removing the washing machine reveals damp flooring and skirting board. The sound of a water leak can be heard behind the plasterboard. Cutting the plasterboard away reveals a leaking pipe fitting in the all.
