A morning walk along Sukhumvit Road in Phrom Phong, Bangkok. This route follows the stretch toward the Asok Intersection before returning. Notes from this walk: Weather: Hazy and Sunny, 24C Date: 17 January 2026 at 8:35 AM Sawadee everyone! It's been awhile since we have just walked along Sukhumvit itself in Phrom Phong. So this morning, that's exactly what I decided to do. I began across from Sukhumvit Soi 26, walking towards EmQuartier. The area around Soi 39 and Phrom Phong BTS station usually have street food vendors in the morning. Today, there were several. I walked under the BTS station next to the mall and kept going towards Soi 31. The sun felt good, even though the haze was apparent even at street-level. I made the turnaround at Terminal 21, crossing the busy Asok intersection at street level instead of on the skywalk above. The return trip back to Phrom Phong on the south side of Sukhumvit was very bright and sunny, but it rewarded us with more terrific scents of street food and people moving about on Saturday. After crossing in front of the Emporium under the BTS Phrom Phong station, I ended the walk right about where it began, and feeling like I should have not forgotten my SPF, haha. Thanks for watching.
