In December 2025, we returned to the Adirondacks to experience the high peaks in winter. During our stay, we set out to snowshoe to the summit of Cascade Mountain on a brisk Saturday morning. Conditions were ideal, with a solid snowpack and temperatures in the high teens. The snow-covered forest felt like a scene from a winter wonderland. When we reached the summit, we were met with winds exceeding 50 mph, which only added to the adventure and made the day even more unforgettable. It was truly a remarkable experience—one we will never forget!
