Discovering the Chilean Coast 🌊 | Stretching, Habits, and a Safety Lesson on the Road In this new episode, I invite you to join us on a journey through some of the most charming corners of the Chilean coast: Maitencillo, Cachagua, Las Cujas, and Zapallar. Each of these places offers something unique, from dramatic landscapes where the sea crashes fiercely against the rocks, to beaches that envelop us in an indescribable serenity. This trip has been much more than just a tour of beautiful beaches; it has been a learning experience about movement, connection with nature, and, unfortunately, about how vulnerable we can be when we let our guard down. Our adventure begins in 🌴 Maitencillo, a perfect destination for those looking for wide beaches and outdoor activities. Here, the constant waves invite surfers, and we take advantage of the opportunity to disconnect from the daily rhythm, preparing for what was to come. 🌅 Cachagua was our next stop, where we enjoyed its famous beach and the iconic views towards Cachagua Island, home to a colony of Humboldt penguins that we observed from a distance. From here, we headed towards Las Cujas, a beach that looks like something out of a postcard, with its white sand and calm, crystal-clear waters. Las Cujas is known for being more intimate and less crowded. In this video, I share some tips on parking options, from free spaces several blocks from the beach to paid parking lots, which allow you to be closer to the sea. Keeping these details in mind can make the difference in enjoying it to the fullest without the logistical worries that sometimes interfere with the experience. However, this trip also taught us a difficult lesson. One afternoon, while enjoying a spectacular sunset, we were victims of a robbery. Among our belongings, the most important thing they took from us was the key to our van, which left us in a complicated situation, making us feel vulnerable and exposed. The mix of emotions at that moment was intense, from disbelief to the discomfort of knowing that our tranquility had been interrupted. 🧘‍♀️ Finally, we arrived at Zapallar, a place that ended up trapping us for several days thanks to its undeniable charm. This resort, one of the most exclusive in Chile, has a magic that goes beyond its dreamlike landscapes. The contrast between the rocky areas, where the sea hits hard, and the serene beaches is almost a reflection of our emotions: on the one hand, the calm and beauty of the surroundings, and on the other, the concern for the unexpected that we had experienced. Despite this unfortunate incident, we managed to cope with the situation and reminded ourselves that trips, like life, are full of surprises. Some are not so nice, but they all teach us something valuable.
