It’s a favourite place for Steph and I as the beach is great for body surfing and splashing around in the waves. Often, you will see dolphins playing in the surf and I’m told it’s also a great place to spot a whale. Though, today it was a bit too windy on the beach. Instead, we have parked at the reserve near Woolgoolga Creek where we can have breakfast. It’s a nice shady place for hot days. Willow enjoys sitting on the table as Steph makes some toast. After breakfast Willow explores the forest with me and we see a Water Dragon basking in the sun just a metre from us. I’m not sure who was more startled – Willow and I or the dragon! Willow is quite content to spend the day watching the activity in the forest and I feel a little bad as I pick her up and bring her back to the van so we could continue down the coast. Don’t worry Willow! There will be plenty more places to explore! I’m not sure what Willow was doing at the start of the video. How funny did she look when she had just her front paws on the van’s side step. Silly cat! She always makes us smile.
