A recognized European Fluency Specialist, she currently works at the Children’s Hospital in Zagreb, diagnosing and treating children and adolescents with speech and language disorders, focusing on fluency disorders. She also teaches on postgraduate courses at Medical School and supervises students on clinical practice in fluency disorders at the University of Zagreb. She also lectures at the University of Mostar. She has published numerous professional and scientific papers and is co-author of several books and manuals. Since 2010, she has organized the triennial Croatia Stuttering Symposium, in collaboration with the Australian Stuttering Research Centre at the University of Technology in Sydney. As a person who herself stutters, Dr Jelčić Jaksic founded the Croatian Association for People who Stutter and has been its chair on several occasions. Go to https://acrm.org/resources/coronaviru...
