Whales almost collides into fishermen Me and my mate Toby planned a 2 day survival fishing challenge off an island however we encountered 2 whales which was an amazing but scary encounter ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ❌ DISCLAIMER ❌ I had no intention of breaking any rules while filming the whales. My drone was always more than 100 meters away, and I only used the zoom function. The drone was already in the air, capturing footage of myself and my friend fishing, when a pair of whales approached the boat unexpectedly. I did not launch the drone upon seeing the whales, nor did I attempt to provoke them. Understanding the risks associated with a low flying drone, I made the conscious choice not to follow the whales and instead landed the drone safely, fully aware of and respecting the marine regulations.
