Warriors Orochi Chaos Mode Mitsuhide Akechi SW 8-X, Wei 5-X ----- ABILITIES: Speed Boost Potence Impulse Vitality Fortitude Adrenalin WEAPON: Flash Slay Might Brave Bolt Air Multi Agility ----- There are several charge attacks that are useful for Mitsuhide, but maximization should probably consider only his C4. His C5 doesn't activate Multi, so the damage is inferior. It's nice to follow up with a Jump Charge (JC) and then R1, then quick double jump to follow up with another combo. I show this against Boomslang, but I messed up the double jump :P The defense of this combo is also inferior to his C4. His C5 keeps him in one spot, and even though it is in the air, there's still a good chance of getting hit in massive crowds. Using a two C4's like what I did against Kotaro is the fastest offense, and the safest offense. Mitsuhide's C6 can kill generics in one go, but it's slower than two C4's, and you can't jump cancel the recovery time. C8 will also kill generics in one hit, it's obvious that there are defensive risks if he has to go through seven normal attacks and he's a speed type character. C4 maximization: Working without the Range element, you need to be careful with maximizing the damage of his C4, that is, executing it so that Multi activates. All you need to do is make sure that you hit officers near the end of his C4, so try to hit officers when they are positioned slightly to his right side. Against the first generic, Mitsuhide only needs dirR1 and R1 as extra damage and setup for an AERIAL C4 (to make use of the Air element) to kill that generic officer quickly. I show at Lu Kuang how to mess up his C4. If the officer is centered or positioned slightly to the left, Multi will not kick in, and the result is less damage and the officer will not be scattered. I simply followed up with dirR1 and R1 to knock back the officer so I can finish him off with another C4, safely. Sorry I messed up on Lu Bu. I've only been able to kill him in one chain of combos like 1/5 times, so I wouldn't consider it consistent. But still keep in mind though, that a chain of C4's is the fastest and safest offense. Since he needs to have officers positioned to his right to maximize C4 damage, the result is that Lu Bu gets hit to the right, and thus off the screen. This raises control issues. But even if you master this control, this combo tends to move around in a circle, and there will be times when Mitsuhide will be in a tough situation making it too dangerous to execute his C4. This is why I use his dirR1 and R1 to knock Lu Bu away to isolate him. So with all this theory covered, the best offense will involve some sort of isolation tactic with R1's and then roughly two C4's, then likely so more R1 scattering, and then one or two C4's to finish it off. This is the ideal case. But more realistically, his offense would be detached, that is involving more than one chain of continuous combos. Mitsuhide's dirR1 with his JC is extremely good against archers. It is his JC that makes his dirR1 so useful, as Zhou Tai who has a similar dirR1 cannot do what Mitsuhide does. But of course, Zhou Tai a totally different method for eliminating archers. You can see that Mitsuhide has what it takes to rival many of the top tiers. However, he is by far inferior against double defense Lu Bu, so in my view, he deserves to be placed lower than top tier. ----- AUDIO: Samurai Warriors 1 - Azuchi Castle Samurai Warriors 1 - Yamazaki
