Drivers encounter rolling hills, curves, and winding sections. A specific area known as the Subuiga blackspot is a steep, winding 10-kilometer descent that poses a driving challenge due to the abrupt gradient changes. The region around Timau, which sits about 8,500 feet (over 2,500 meters) above sea level, is one of the highest points of the drive, offering high-altitude conditions and cooler weather.
