Most of the Heritage Type Frames and logo templates have some sort of compound path that might make it difficult to change the illustration in and out. I'm sure there are multiple ways to edit them, but for me, I have found that the easiest way to do it is using the direct selection tool to target what you want and either change or delete sections to be how you want them!
