As we witness the transformative power of Technological advancements in businesses, it's clear that the future belongs to innovators and entrepreneurs who can harness its potential. I am most excited to experience the Aston MBA's focus on entrepreneurship and innovation. It offers an exceptional curriculum focused on modern business modules that align perfectly with my career goals. Moreover, the Aston edge program, focuses on developing leadership capabilities and key soft skills, which is an added advantage in the competitive environment we live. I plan on using the Aston MBA to make a positive impact in the construction industry, specifically in the areas of sustainability and innovation. Infrastructure projects including power plants, buildings, and transport are responsible for a staggering emission of 70% of global greenhouse gas emissions. Unlike COVID-19, there will never be a vaccine for climate change – it is only the actions we take today that will help to solve the problem. There is a tremendous importance for designers to take leadership in driving sustainability and reducing carbon emission. Aston MBA has a focus on sustainability and ethical business practices, providing me with an ideal platform to explore and develop my interest in addressing climate change As an Aston MBA alumnus, I will stay in touch with the faculty and alumni network to continue learning from their experiences and sharing my own. I shall showcase the Aston MBA's ability to complement technical skills and propel career growth by engaging with engineering associations and industry groups. Overall, my goal is to inspire confidence in the Aston MBA's potential for career advancement and contribute to the program's continued success.
