Peck Mine Road Part I - Jeep Jamboree, Table Mesa 2023

Thank you for joining us for this special series as we kick off the 2023 Jeep Jamboree season at Table Mesa as ambassadors for AMSOIL. This part one of the Friday Peck Mine Road trip with a total of nine jeeps including the two Trail Guides. The snowy conditions made this trail extremely challenging with creek crossings and lots of slipping and sliding. Many of the vehicles were stock and provided an absolutely impressive performance to watch. There was one minor mishap involving a Jeep being impaled by a tree, but you will have to wait for that in a future episode. Despite not getting off the trail until 8pm, it was an excellent adventure, and a good time was had by all. Peck Mine Road trail begins as a narrow shelf road with a rock garden 2/3 of the way through the trail. The difficulty changes depending on the winter’s precipitation, it might be easier or tougher. In our case, it was tough! We will be starting off leaving Crown King Road / Forest 259 Road and taking Peck Mine Road / Forest 89 Road and heading north west to our first stop at the rock garden crossing.
