After months of living behind a sheet of plywood, our farmhouse finally has a proper front door again. In this episode, we follow the journey of our handmade, traditionally crafted door from the workshop to installation, working with talented local joiners to create something that suits the age and character of our 100-year-old Welsh farmhouse. Alongside the door reveal, we make progress on our heritage fireplace and bread oven as we continue the slow process of bringing the house back to life and one step closer to being fully habitable. There’s craftsmanship, restoration, a bit of winter progress… and, as always, Seren doing her very best to supervise (or distract) everyone involved. Join us as we continue the renovation of our abandoned farmhouse and the journey from city life to smallholding. We have a huge challenge on our hands as the property and the land all need a full renovation after lying empty for years but as we spent everything we had on the move, we will be doing all the work ourselves. This is a life time project though, so we have time to figure it all out! We would love if you would like and subscribe and follow our journey!
