Also known as the "what happened, was that seriously your foot in front of my face, how in the world did it get there???" choke. This is definitely one of the flashiest moves in my arsenal, and it gels really well with my very flexible legs. Properly done it actually requires a lot less flexibility than it looks like it would, especially if you're out on your hip really far, but obviously the disturbing leg dexterity helps. You can catch a gogoplata from just about anywhere you can take a triangle choke, so the grapevine grip is no different. The arm isolation can help to cut out some of the normal 10th Planet setup moves that you'd normally walk through to get to the gogoplata from mission control. Either that, or you can sweep to mount and take your choice of a gogoplata or monoplata. Shout out to BMac for the nifty finishing details.
