While checking sheep on the farm, I came across a lamb lying alone under a tree. She was weak, dehydrated, and not moving much. Her mum wasn’t nearby, and for a moment it looked like the lamb had been abandoned. Instead of stepping in straight away, I decided to watch and wait. A few hundred metres away, I eventually found the ewe and kept an eye on the situation for several hours to see if she would return and feed her lamb.
