🌄 Kodachadri Trek: Our Self-Planned Adventure! Join us as we embark on an exhilarating self-planned trek to the breathtaking Kodachadri! In this video, we’ll take you through our meticulously organized journey from Mysore to the stunning landscapes of Kodachadri, showcasing every detail of our adventure. 🚆 Travel Itinerary: 1. Train Journey: We commenced our adventure by booking a one-way train from Mysore to Sagara for just ₹350. The train departs at 7:30 PM, arriving at Sagara Jambagaru around 6:40 AM. 2. Bus Ride to Nittur: Upon arrival, we opted for the Durgamba private bus to Nittur, costing ₹85, plus a ₹10 ferry charge to cross the picturesque water. 3. Breakfast Stop: After reaching Nittur, we savored a delicious breakfast for approximately ₹80 per person. 4. Auto to Katinhole: Next, we took an auto rickshaw from Nittur to Katinhole, the base of our trek and our homestay. The fare was ₹350 for the 8 km journey, as no bus services were available. 5. Homestay Experience: We stayed at Pathalgere Homestay, renowned for its delectable home-cooked meals. We reserved our tent accommodation four days in advance for ₹800, which included lunch on trek day, dinner, and breakfast the following morning. We pre-booked our tickets via the Kudremukha National Park website The trek fee was ₹300, with an additional ₹100 for access to the stunning Hidlumane Falls. A guide was mandatory for the trek, with a fixed fee of ₹1000, regardless of group size. Since our group comprised ten members, the cost per person was just ₹100.
