Baishi Mountain Scenic Area

Located 15 kilometers to the south of Laiyuan County, Baoding City, Baishi Mountain enjoys convenient transportation and it is only 2 to 3 hours drive to Baoding, Beijing, Tianjin, Shanxi and Shijiazhuang. The mountain, famous for its white marbles, is standing on the north end of the Taihang Mountain, and it is the World Geopark and AAAAA level scenic area, which has a total coverage of 34 square kilometers. It is the only marble peak landform , with a 2096-meter tall Foguang Peak, 7000-meter long ridge line, 6 towers, 9 valleys and 81 peaks. The precipitous part of the mountain lies in that its peaks are like that they have been cut by a knife, the ravines are deep and hard to pass. The plank road along the cliffs connects the twelve views like white stone and clear clouds, Jiangtaigong Fishing, Bajie getting married, two heroes guarding the mountain, walking on the glass plank road, solemn pledge of love, Baishi rime, the god of Taihang, three sages worshiping the Buddha, immortals basking theirs shoes, auspicious clouds, and offer the tourists the beauty of the Baishi Mountain and water, as well as please them with the feeling of standing on top of the clouds. The plank road on top of the cliff tops the nation in regard to the scenery and excitement.
