This Pooja setup itself has a less number of items to be used, namely a Kubera vilakku, Vishnumaya Devan's photo, a Kamatchi Villaku, a Kubera Kolam, a simple neivedhiyam namely a fruit like Apple, Banana, etc and finally the coins for doing the pooja. You can also use some flowers if you wish. The Step by Step procedure to do this Pooja is simplified in this Video, For 48 days you can do this below procedure alone. The first one is ' திருவிளக்கு ஏற்றுதல்' and the next step is 'திருவிளக்கு வழிபாடு'. The குபேர காயத்ரி is 'ஓம் யக்ஷராஜாய வித்மஹே வைஸ்ரவணாய தீமஹி ! தந்நோ குபேர ப்ரசோதயாத்' After completing the Dheepa Aradhanai or Arathi, Aacharya Shree Vidya Durga C chants the குபேர ஷ்லோகம் ''ஓம் யக்ஷாய குபேராய வைஸ்ரவணாய தனதான்யாதிபதயே தனதான்ய ஸம்ஹ்ருதிம்மே தேகி தேகி தாபய ஸ்வாஹா' for 3 times and drops the coins simultaneously for completing the Pooja. Now an important part of the Pooja, it is time for Sankalpam, we can now close our eyes and pray on our wishes or the immediately prioritized needs to Lord Kubera invoked through this Pooja.
