Calot's triangle (cystohepatic triangle) is a tiny abdominal space. It is at the liver's porta hepatis, where hepatic ducts and neurovascular systems enter/exit. Calot's triangle's bounds, contents, and clinical relevance will be examined in this article. Original 1891 description of Calot's triangle: the cystic artery is the superior border. The cystic artery's anatomical course and origin vary, therefore the contemporary concept provides a more constant border. If Calot's triangle cannot be demarcated due to significant inflammation, the surgeon may conduct a subtotal cholecystectomy or open surgery. #Anatomy #HumanAnatomy #fmge2024 #next2024 #fmgetopper #fmge #medicalstudent #neetpg #NExT2024 #NEETPG #NExtPGpreparation #Clinical,#IndianAnatomist #Medical Postgraduate #Postgraduate #NMC #inicet #abdomen #gallbladder #cholecystectomy #cholecystitis #calot's triangle #calots triangle #cystohepatic triangle #general surgery #bile duct #surgery Our, INDIAN ANATOMIST, YouTube channel introduces generic anatomy to MBBS and Post-graduate aspiring medical students.
