Rc GWS ZERO - A6M2-N "RUFE" Float Plane Maiden Flight

Classic Radio Control GWS Zero kit converted into an Nakajima A6M2-N "Rufe" Float plane using a single Horizon Hobby pontoon for the center main float mounted on a custom 3d printed pylon of the original design, along with two homemade outboard floats made from a combo of foam, wire, and 3d printed components. I spent 2 months building the Rufe and with the weather finally at a good place for the first time all year I took my chance. The first flight went great, with some adjustments and trimming she performed brilliant. Still need practice flying on/off water as the second flight showed when I took an unexpected dip in the lake in order to recover the Rufe after a mini stall after flaring before touching down.
