2021 Fox Float X2 Upgrade on my Santa Cruz Megatower/ First Ride Impressions/ Cacsade Link Settings

It’s been a fun full year aboard my Santa Cruz Megatower.. a few things have changed recently, most notable is now the Fox Factory Float X2 2021 with VVC & Climb Switch! The stock rear shock on the Megatower was okay for most trails and felt good overall but was lacking adjustability and the ability to really customize the feel in fine tuning.. since changing over from my stock Santa Cruz Lower Link to the Cascade Components Megatower LT link , my bike was transformed & the changes were welcome over small bump sensitivity, the added 6mm of travel & 5mm longer chainstay length. The last step in taking my bike to the next level was swapping out the stock Rockshox Super Deluxe Ultimate Air and replacing it with the 2021 Fox Float X2. In this video I’m testing the shock for the first time and giving you my live feedback and initial thoughts as I ride and feel out the new shock on my first ride. Unfortunately the GoPro failed me yet again.. user error.. left the GoPro on while climbing.. but anyhow it’s a first look and ride feel so if you make it to the end of the video, just know that I’ll be following up my initial thoughts after having more time on the shock after a month or so of good hard riding!
