10th place this week somehow with shambolic play & not enough time to learn. Didn't even meet my 'basic' score goal. The main way to score is to ensure 100% or more shot per hit ratio. This gets you a 100K bonus. 80-99% gets 50K. For this you really need power ups which give you piercing shots & a little more distance, up to a maximum of 3. Luckily, ending the stage with 100% or more automatically gives you the max power gun & ensures a helicopter is the 1st vehicle that spawns. They're invincible to soldier bullets & can pass over all obstacles. So 100% stage 1, get the 100K bonus & you're all set to repeat the process. Easier said than done though. The boats & tanks are OK if there's no helicopter as you can run enemies over for free kills but they have limited movement One good thing to know is that there is no double KO with bosses. If you kill the boss as it or anything else kills you, you live. You can also set up your score to ensure specific power up / bonus value drops but tbh, it's not too worthwhile in the caravan. When you're at max power any other power ups kill all enemies on-screen for free kills. If you spawn a bonus item, it's worth 1000 x the value of your thousands digit. If you can take it when the thousands is 0 you get 10K & kill all on-screen enemies Awesome game that's not too hard but also extremely impossible, depending on how you play
