This is Cuban hybrid (combination of Spanish language voice and digital data) numbers station known by the ENIGMA ID HM01. HM01 is transmitted form Cuba, using either the same production studios or transmitter facility, or both, as Radio Havana, Cuba (RHC). In the past there have been error transmissions mixing RHC and HM01, both on RHC and HM01 frequencies and schedules. HM01 took the place of Spanish language voice numbers station V02a and M08a in the early 2010's. One of the transitional period transmissions was known as SK01, and was similar to this transmission but minus the voice component. This station transmits daily, many times a day, on various frequencies and times. Note that the sequence of the transmission starts with 6 groups of five digits in Spanish, the same 6 groups sent repeatedly for several minutes. After several minutes of these same 6 groups sent repeatedly the station changes to a single voice 5 digit code group sent and then a digital signal sent, followed by another single voice 5 digit code group and a digital signal. Each of the single voice 5 digit code groups is one of the six that were in the initial, all voice, sequence. These leads to six sets, each set is a single 5 digit code group followed by a digital message. After all 6 are sent, the cycle repeats. Each digital message is a form of HamDRM and decoding the signal results in a text file. However, the data in the text file is encrypted before being transmitted. HM01 has used a variety of digital formats in the past, but has been using HamDRM for the recent past. In this transmission, the 6 five digit voice code groups are (in Spanish): 53755, 55203, 58841, 80441, 52723, 05218 The file names for the 6 digital files sent are: 58315375, 27635520, 81825884, 64488044, 07325272, 76730521 Recorded at my location in the Mojave Desert, California, USA, on 27 May, 2023, 0526 UTC. Receiver used was an RFSpace NetSDR, the antenna used was a Triband triband dipole in an inverted V configuration.
