I am an avid traveller a fond of nature and jungle this time we explore singharaja forest so our journey begin from Colombo 4hours of drive we reach deniyaya and travel about 9km to mederipitiya we reach this place my adrenalin rush since we need to pass a very tiny bridge a challenging drive that day😅 another 7km we travel to reach the entrance of the forest we stay one night at hotel relax and had some nice food, drinks at the next day everyone wake up very early to explore inside sinharaja forest the tour guide can paid around 1000rupees make sure if you travel in this place not on a rainy day the moment we start exploring we are welcome by chirping of birds 40to 50 meters of tree,butterfly lizards,snake and most amazing is the crystal clear water from the falls where I found beautiful fishes make sure to dip your self in the water so you will feel that you are a part of this magnificent world. There are total five entrance in Sinharaja Forest Reserve including newly added Kurulugala Entrance. Every entrance gives you different experiences because they belong to different geography and climate areas. So we suggest you to visit through every entrance if you have more time. You can see different species of fauna and flora which are endemic to that specific area of the Sinharaja Forest Reserve. We suggest you to select a guide before you visit one of entrances and always try to find by yourself. Then you can get the best one who fit on your need and budget.
