Turning Yard Wood into a Bottle Opener & Stopper (Wood Lathe Project)

In this video, I’m turning wood from my own yard into two small but useful projects: a bottle opener and a bottle stopper. I start with some irregular blanks on the wood lathe. Once the shapes are finished, I sand everything smooth , attach them to blanks, and apply a tung oil finish to bring out the grain and protect the wood. This is a simple project that shows how even small pieces of “free” wood can turn into functional, good-looking items.
