Deviating from the main Sims series, Bustin' Out on GBA acts as an objective-style adventure game. You control the Sim, rather then it's surrounds, which leads to a free roaming experience. Unlike the mainline series, Sims cannot die in their GBA games, Instead, they pass out in one of eight different ways: starvation, electrocution, knocked out, assaulted by a wild rooster, drown, suffocate, possessed by a ghost, and eaten alive. Not really sure how one 'passes out' by some of these methods, but anyway. With these limitations, some extra creativity was needed for a compilation. Usually based around a Sim starving to...exhaustion in a series of comical situations. A few extra scenes are also included that don't involve the usual passing out method for variety. Sims had to get abused somehow.
