We visited Dahlonega GA on July 4th. We went to The Smith House to look at the gold mine they found under the Hotel & Restaurant. We ended up seeing that and also eating there. It was so good! So much food! We also visited the Holly Theatre and they are having their 75th Anniversary and are showing a 1948 movie for .50 and having soda for .05. The original movie screen has since been removed as they are putting on plays. For the anniversary they will be projecting the movie on July 9th their 75th. We also visited The General Store , it was so cute! Loved it and all the merch they sell in there. We enjoyed all the old props in there too. We sample a Route 66 Rootbeer.
