There are plenty of cherry blossom viewing spots, such as on the banks or on the promenade along the river, and there are 17 bridges of various sizes built in the Fukiage area alone. You can enjoy various scenery depending on the season, such as the water mirror where the flowers are reflected on the river surface when they are in full bloom, and the flower rafts that can be seen after the petals have fallen.
