If we have to, overnight parts from Japan" (quote from my favorite movie ever) So after selling the 65 Mustang a few weeks ago I had a few bucks burning a hole in my pocket along with a whole slew of 5.0 HO engine parts laying around in the garage and no project car to put them on. So I hopped on FB marketplace and found this gem, a one family owned since new, never seen a winter, minty fresh SN95 94 Mustang GT convertible in red with a 5 speed and tan interior. And since its a 94, it has a 5.0L HO that I can put all my go fast parts on including the aluminum heads, Holley Hi-Ram, Cam, Big Stuff 3 ECU, etc. I found the Mustang about 60 miles from me in Deerfield, MI and scooped it up and drove it home, and you would never believe it has 118k miles on the clock, no lights on, everything works, even the drivers seat is in great shape! With a little elbow grease this SN95 is going to make for a great long haul cruiser for the family to enjoy. When we took the '65 Mustang on HRPT 2020, it sucked not having AC, power brakes, power steering, etc. This year we took the '22 Hellcat which was great, except we felt like we were cheating. This '94 GT fits the bill well as its modern enough to have a lot of great creature comforts and blast comfortably all day down the highway at 90mph, but it's also getting long in the tooth, at 28 years old, she's no spring chicken! Overall this will be an at home 'Budget" build trying to get used parts and save some bucks where ever possible, and I'll document the parts used and keep you guys updated as we go. I'd like to try and be around 500whp, keep AC and all the creature comforts, and come in no more than $15k. @HolleyPerformance @FordPerformance @stifflers @ievilenergy
