In this #airsoftreview I'll be showing of my custom Classic Army Airsoft MG36 LMG build. I was given the base AEG G36K a few years back and with a little bit of tinkering I turned it into a monster of a gun! Whilst this isn't technically an MG36 due to the absence of a drum magazine and bipod, I still call it an MG36 as that is the end goal for this build. Right now it's just a G36 with a lot of range! The performance of this gun isn't anything out of the ordinary, the firerate is what you'd exoect for a pretty bog-standard AEG and the velocity comes in at a comfortable 310FPS. What makes this gun a little absurd is the range, thanks to a 455mm 6.03mm Madbull Black Python tightbore barrel this gun can reach far beyond the typical 60 metres of a UK legal AEG or full auto airsoft gun. The maximum range seems to be about 80 metres, which in practice makes this gun very effective at pinning the enemy down at ranges that their weapons wouldn't reach. Don't get me wrong, the accuracy of this #airsoftgun at 80 metres isn't great but you're in with a chance of hitting something whereas without that ridiculous range you wouldn't be close. The base gun was given to me and it was a little careworn, the outer barrel assembly had broken off the gas block assembly (most likely the previous user tripped and landed on the barrel), however it was an easy fix. The gearbox was a pain in the arse at one point but everything seems to be working just fine now. The #MG36 is a variant of the legendary Heckler and Koch G36 rifle. Whilst this version wasn't produced for long it found it's way into media, most notably MW3 and Battlefield 3. I've always wanted an airsoft LMG build but didn't want the great heft of a belt-fed replica. This MG36 weighs less than my MP5! I am intending on finishing this custom airsoft MG36 build at some point but G36 Beta C-mags are a rarity on the airsoft market. The bipod seems to be hard to come by as well. ■ LIKE this video?
