This short mindfulness practice is an invitation to arrive — in your body, in the present moment, and in whatever season of the day you’re in. Using simple sensory awareness, this practice helps you gently shift out of autopilot and into presence. It can be done anytime and anywhere, while walking, sitting, or lying down, and requires no special setup or experience. As part of our Rooted in Ritual journey, arriving is the foundation of ritual. Before breath, movement, or reflection, there is the simple act of noticing where you are. By tuning into the senses, we create a small pause, a moment of meaning that turns an ordinary moment into something intentional. You might choose to return to this practice: • Before or after yoga • At the start of your day • During a busy or overwhelming moment • As a gentle way to transition between activities When repeated with care, even a few moments of awareness can become a ritual, something steady you return to again and again. Come as you are. Arriving is enough.
