This week, I want to share something I swear by: having a regular money practice. For me, that means sitting down with my husband a couple times a year and going through our “Money Book.” We make a fun evening out of it, grab some dinner, and look at everything—bank accounts, investments, 401(k)s, HSAs, our mortgage, and any debt. If there’s debt, I write it down so I can actually see it going down over time. I also like to add a little context, like what interest rates were doing or what was happening in the world at the time. When we come back to it six months later, that context really helps explain the changes. If this feels intimidating, that’s normal. The first time takes the most effort, but after that it gets much easier—and a lot less scary. This doesn’t have to be fancy or complicated! Knowing what’s going on with your money brings clarity, confidence, and peace of mind. There’s no right schedule. Monthly, quarterly, or twice a year all work—it just depends on your goals. My Challenge for You: Grab a notebook, pick a cadence that works for you, and put your next money check-in on the calendar! And if you want help setting this up or understanding what you’re seeing, reach out. You got this babe! www.rebelwomenwealth.com
