From a 280z, of the 6 only one worked at 1st, the 2nd and 3rd came along after hours of exposure to the 1/2 wave current from the setup. I have been monitoring the amp draw trying to keep it around .5 amps. At that current the injectors will get slightly warm to the touch but only after hours of continuous duty. The diode is an attempt to provide a more choppy current to try and jar the injector internal parts loose. What I dont show is the power supply variac. It allows me to taylor the amount of current so I can reduce the voltage as I remove injectors from the series as the get unstuck.
