She outlines the timeline, planning decisions, leadership structures, and operational systems that enabled her to step away without disrupting client care or team functioning—along with the trade-offs, unexpected challenges, and mindset shifts required to make it work. Attendees will learn not only the strategies but also the realities of taking extended leave as a practice owner, and how to evaluate their own readiness to do the same. Learning Objectives: -Identify the key operational systems and leadership structures required to support a planned sabbatical or extended leave. -Conduct a “practice systems check” to assess readiness, gaps, and vulnerabilities before stepping away. -Apply lessons from a real-world sabbatical case study to build individualized action steps for their own group practice.
