We Found the Coziest Pub in Yorkshire | Dinner at The Kestrel

Tonight we visited The Kestrel, a beautiful pub with rooms near Harrogate and Knaresborough in North Yorkshire. We came here to enjoy a cozy evening and dinner while showing you the warm atmosphere of this traditional British pub. For our meal: 🥩 Slow-Cooked Beef Shin – tender beef slow cooked on the bone in a rich sauce and served with mash and vegetables. 🐟 Pan-Roasted Salmon – served with crushed baby potatoes, tenderstem broccoli and a creamy king prawn & white wine sauce. For starter we shared Chicken Liver & Fig Pâté with toasted ciabatta and chutney. For dessert Diana tried the delicious Pimm’s Strawberry Trifle – sponge infused with Pimm’s, fresh strawberries, creamy custard and double cream. The Kestrel has a very cozy interior with wooden beams, fireplaces, antique décor and a relaxing countryside atmosphere. It’s also a pub with rooms near Harrogate and Knaresborough, making it a lovely place to visit for dinner or a relaxing evening. ⚠️ Important: The Kestrel will be closed for refurbishment from 22 March 2026 until 25 April 2026, so it will be interesting to come back and see what has changed when it reopens.
