I’m a lifelong programmer and systems architect, currently living on the Oregon coast where I volunteer as a caretaker and campground host in a national forest. For the past two years I’ve been documenting my life and work and building my own infrastructure to host it — nearly 900 recordings so far — as an alternative to platforms that flatten people into content. I design and build systems: software systems, information systems, and increasingly, systems that involve supervising and shaping AI rather than competing with it. I’ve been programming since sixth grade. Over decades, I’ve worked across entertainment, travel, music, and infrastructure — often building things early, often freelancing, often long-term, and often outside conventional career paths.
