Making Friends At The Range Speedrun (JMac RRD-2C vs. Surefire Muzzle Brake on a 10.3 URGI)

Realized I had two clips of the same rifle with two different brakes, so decided to do a brief comparison vidya. First part is my 10.3 URGI topped with the JMAC Customs RRD-2C Keymo comp for mounting my DA wolfman, with both mags running Norma .223 , and the second half of the video the same gun but swapped to the Surefire Muzzle Brake to mount my RC2 can (still in jail), running Norma .223 in the first mag and Federal M193 in the second. RRD-2C has more flash and less concussive blast compared to the SFMB, but noticeably drives the muzzle down, leading to a very unintuitive drop in the muzzle after each shot. The SFMB has a good bit less flash compared to the RRD-2C (when using the same ammo), but has significantly more blast, and wider reaching as well. Holding the gun as in the vid without gloves, I would feel the direct blast from one of the smaller ports on the brake, hence the glove. The Modlite glass was opaque, and the peq was stained brown from the blast by the end of the shooting. Definitely would recommend the Warden if you are shooting next to people in open lanes. SFMB also has no annoying downward impulse of the JMAC comp, and leaves the 10.3 literally completely flat. The crazy flash in the last mag of the clip I attribute to the 5.56 vs the .223 used in the other mags.
