We chose a cinema room because we believe it is an ideal environment to propose our performances, the acoustics are perfect and with a large screen and powerful projector the audience can immerse themselves in our world. A project born of the collaboration between A.Pomposo and G.Mascia - in art FamousDeadPeople - after over 20 years experience each in producing electronic music.Our musical background lead us to create a mix of our preferred sounds, in a blend of Techno, Electro as well as more experimental. After the consistent use of various hardware, we perform with an audio/video live set played with analog devices such as synthesisers, electronic drums, sequencers and effects that, modulated, create sounds akin to Ambient, Industrial and decontextualised Dance Music. The fundamental point of the projects is the interaction with Visual Art and the collaboration with Michele Pesce (WeLikeTheFish), translating into the live set being underpinned by a selection of images tightly tied to the music, with the Vj taking care of visually involving the audience, taking them into a tridimensional and surreal experience through the Video/Mapping. The aim of the Audio/Video project is to propose meaningful events of social and cultural significance, through artistic initiatives able to marry traditional and innovative in a interesting places throughout the World!
