The Astrea AS640 is the classic "Orchestra Model", OM sized guitar. A nice sized guitar with crisp and clear high end, smooth and mellow midrange and a warm low end. With a solid Mahogany top and mahogany neck, sides and back, this guitar oozes class. The Headstock features a rosewood overlay with thin Maple binding. For the electric version (AS640E), we've added one of our best acoustic/electric units - Our GFS EAP540 preamp and our ATZ055 under saddle piezo pickups. This is a tremendous electric system. The GFS EAP-540 is an incredibly sophisticated four band Acoustic preamp. It includes a bright LED display that makes tuning a snap even in the most dimly lit environments. This is one of the most stable tuners we've ever used... a perfect choice for louder stages. A built-in phase control allows you to get your amplified sound in phase with mic'd acoustic sound- your soundman will LOVE you!
