Join us on a relaxing ferry trip from Circular Quay to Watsons Bay, one of the most scenic journeys in Sydney Harbour. We start at Circular Quay, passing the Sydney Harbour Bridge, the Opera House, and the city skyline. The ferry is a modern catamaran with great views from the upper level. As we leave the wharf, the city slowly fades away, and we pass famous places like the Royal Botanic Garden, Mrs Macquarie’s Chair, and Rose Bay. The ferry speeds up across the water, giving us beautiful views back to the harbour and the city. After arriving at Watson’s Bay, we explore the calm beach area near the wharf, with shady trees, picnic tables, and the famous Doyle’s seafood restaurant. We then walk through parks and along the cliffs, where we see big waves hitting the rocks and wide views of the South Pacific Ocean and Sydney Harbour. Along the way, we visit lookouts, walk through green reserves with large trees and ferns, and learn about the historic Dunbar shipwreck. After enjoying the peaceful nature and fresh sea air, we return to the wharf and take the ferry back to the city, with one last look at Sydney’s skyline from the water.
