i can't pin comments or put links in the description on this channel because that's a feature i need to verify my id for apparently lol open the description if you want to read more thoughts Alright, so a lot of this video i did make in anticipation that shopify rebellion would fall out of invitational sooner after their early 2-0 defeat to Dplus. As a North American R6 Siege fan, I am consistently perplexed and frustrated by how this team still remains to be one of the best that NA has to offer, despite their strategy effectively coming down to playing the game as slow as possible. This is something that can be used against less experienced teams, or teams that trade precision for recklessness. In their matchup against Falcons, SR nearly won on Labs because of Falcons' tendency to falter when games go late. To me, that does speak to SR's resilience, but it doesn't make them a "great" team. I am more impressed by the creativity of Wildcard, the confidence of Team Secret, and the brute force of Spacestation. This all comes to a head when you add Spoit, a player whose career has been defined by holding sneaky off-site locations with Ela and flexing with Iana, into a system that doesn't allow him to do that. Spoit also tends to freeze up in LAN environments, and has not had good results since the Berlin Major. He doesn't have to be a standout player, either. He just needs to do his job without ego peeking experienced players, while also having the space to be aggressive and creative. Also, the timeline messups from me were kind of embarrassing. While I was hunting for stats and match history, I got the order of Majors backwards, though my points still stand despite the inaccuracy. I've been sitting on this script for a while though while I work on my main channel, so I do apologize for the unpolished nature of my commentary. Next one should be better I promise. Thanks for reading. Thanks also to Liquipedia and SixStats(dot)cc for making this video so much easier to make.
