This video edit explores how Ubisoft brought 18th-century Nassau to life—blending real-world footage from modern-day Nassau (on New Providence Island in the Bahamas) with in-game visuals. While the game captures the town’s coastal charm and its historical pirate flavor, a few creative liberties were taken. Let's hope for a game remake soon! For one, the real Nassau today is a bustling city and cruise port—not quite the lawless pirate republic you see in-game. Landmarks like Fort Charlotte and the Queen’s Staircase were either altered or excluded entirely, likely to fit the narrative and setting of the early 1700s.
